The alarms connect to either a 24 hour monitoring centre or family members, allowing help to be quickly contacted in the event of a fall or emergency.

The organisation required an ecommerce website that allowed customers to purchase personal alarm systems online while also capturing important user information needed for monitoring services.

Previously, much of this information had to be collected manually over the phone. The aim of the new system was to simplify the purchasing process while gathering essential medical details, emergency contact information, and other monitoring data at the point of purchase.

A significant part of the project involved custom backend development to capture essential information during the purchase process. Customers are required to submit key details such as medical information, next of kin contacts, and emergency response information which are needed for the monitoring service.

This information is automatically organised and sent directly to the business owner after each purchase, significantly reducing the amount of manual administration previously required. The new system has streamlined the client’s workflow and removed the need to collect this information manually by phone.

Product pages, content structure and metadata were also optimised as part of the overall website SEO strategy, helping the site perform well for searches related to personal alarms and independent living support.
